I was up in the Cariboo area this week end spending time at a cabin on Pavilion Lake... Wow, what a nice country we have. We went up via Abbotsford and Highway 97, desert and big canyon. Then came back via 99 sea to sky highway. The road was so impressive that it is hard to describe. It was a beautiful and warm week end up there and the view from the cabin to the lake was impressive. The lake is so clear that it can almost be mistaken for the Mediterranean sea... without the temperature.. I have manage to paint a small piece during my two days.. I whish I could spend the summer in that region. It is so beautiful and really inspiring.
