Welcome to my new web site !
The main reason I wanted to update my web site is to facilitate the search through my ever growing gallery of artworks.
The new design will allow you to filter your search and narrow down the selection of artwork according to your like.
You can view my artworks by years, search for specific colours or size and only look at the artwork for sale.. so you don’t get distracted by an artwork that you like but that is no longer available.
You can also create a “favourite” box to look at a later time, or share with friends.
Please feel free to share the paintings you like on your social media by using the “Share” button at the bottom of the Artwork “detail” page.
For now, I have uploaded the artwork starting from 2010. I will continue on uploading my earlier work as the weeks go by and you will have access to my complete collection soon.
I welcome your comments on the site in general and I am curious to see how you like the “filter” option to search through my gallery.
If you want to stay current with upcoming art shows, please enter your email under the “get update” section at the bottom of each page.
I am looking forward to read your comments,

Concordia University: Summer semester 2013
In February 2013 I received the news that I had been accepted at Concordia University and could register for the summer semester 2013. Mid April, I packed my car and my dog and we started our journey accross Canada. I rented a fully furnished appartment in Montreal and used the Bixi bikes twice a week to get to the painting studio class I registered for.
For the first 6 weeks, the focus of the class was on colour using live models as the subject. It was really interesting to see the progress in my paintings. Not only I experimented with colours I had never used before and learned about their origins, I also challenged myself with the subject. Painting the human body can be challenging and I found that I was mostly struggling with hands and feet. So I decided to keep that as the focus of my paintings for the rest of the semester. As a result, I have created a series of hands and feet in different challenging gesture. Sometimes working from photograph of my own hands, sometime using a model.
To view the result, go to the "Art" section of my web site and filter to see the paintings from 2013.
You can read the paper "The book that made me simplified my palette" I wrote at the end of the semester explaining the knowledge on pigment I have gain from reading Philip Ball, Art and the Invention of colour and the effect it had on my style of painting.
